Experience Robotics and Research Firsthand

From Thursday, June 17, through Sunday, June 20, 2027, visitors can experience the RoboCup at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. International teams will showcase autonomous robots in competitions covering soccer, service robotics, rescue robotics, industrial applications, simulation, and RoboCupJunior.

What’s there to see?

At RoboCup, robotics isn’t just explained—it’s demonstrated live. Visitors can see how robots perceive their surroundings, make decisions, work together, solve problems, or play soccer.

The competitions showcase the latest research in robotics and artificial intelligence in a way that’s understandable and exciting, even without any prior technical knowledge.

Visitor Days
Public visitor days will take place from Thursday through Sunday. The exact opening hours have not yet been finalized. The planned hours are expected to be from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Standard visitor tickets will be affordable. Prices and additional ticket information will be published as soon as they are finalized.

Which days are best for a visit?
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are the classic days to visit. On these days, many competitions run simultaneously, many teams are active, and there’s plenty to see on the grounds.
The finals take place on Sunday. This day is particularly exciting because many decisions are made. At the same time, some teams will have already been eliminated, so the competition grounds may be a bit less crowded. Sunday is particularly well-suited for visitors who want to watch the finals and then attend Family Day.

Family Day on Sunday
On Sunday, June 20, 2027, the RoboCup Family Day is also scheduled to take place at Max Morlock Stadium. Family Day is aimed at RoboCup participants, families, friends, and visitors from outside the event. The RoboCup Party is scheduled to follow.

For School Groups
Separate information will be provided for schools. A dedicated program for school groups is planned. Further details regarding registration, visiting hours, and the program will be published at a later date.
